Laser microdissection

Principle

The laser microdissection technique makes it possible to isolate cells or groups of cells on a tissue section based on their phenotypic or functional characteristics.

The microdissects, recovered using lasers on a thermosensitive membrane capsule, are compatible for transcriptomic, proteomic, epigenetic and quantitative PCR analyzes.

Equipment

Arcturus Veritas laser microdissection system (Excilone) equipped with an inverted fluorescence microscope coupled to an IR laser (810 nm) and a UV laser (355 nm).

The services
  • Laser microdissector training
  • Training in sample preparation techniques: cryostat cutting on membraned slides, staining
