c\u00f4ne sont primordiaux pour la vision utile chez l\u2019homme, responsables \u00e0 la fois de l\u2019acuit\u00e9 visuelle et la d\u00e9tection des couleurs. Ils sont aussi proie \u00e0 de nombreuses atteintes soit g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques<em> (les \u00ab maculopathies \u00bb)<\/em> ou environnementales.<\/p><p>Cependant on a beaucoup moins de connaissances scientifiques concernant les c\u00f4nes en comparaison \u00e0 l\u2019autre type, les b\u00e2tonnets. Ces lacunes sont en grande partie dues au fait que les c\u00f4nes soient peu repr\u00e9sent\u00e9s chez les souris et rats, mod\u00e8les classiques du laboratoire.<\/p><p>Afin de faciliter les analyses structurales et fonctionnelles, nous avons \u00e0 notre disposition deux esp\u00e8ces de rongeur diurnes o\u00f9 le pourcentage des c\u00f4nes est 10-15 fois sup\u00e9rieur aux souris.<\/p><p>Ces esp\u00e8ces nous ont permis d\u2019approfondir les connaissances sur la physiologie cellulaire des c\u00f4nes, par exemple leur recyclage quotidien <em>(Bobu et al., 2006, 2009, 2013 ; Verra et al, 2020)<\/em> et leur composition unique en lipides <em>(Verra, Spinnhirny et al., 2022)<\/em> ; mais surtout leurs r\u00e9ponses aux conditions pathologiques, telles que l\u2019exposition excessive \u00e0 la lumi\u00e8re <em>(Boudard et al., 2010 ; en cours)<\/em>, l\u2019induction du diab\u00e8tes <em>(Saidi et al., 2011 ; Estay et al., sous presse)<\/em>, et tr\u00e8s r\u00e9cemment la mise au point d\u2019un mod\u00e8le novateur de la maculopathie dite \u00ab Maladie de Stargardt \u00bb par injection r\u00e9tinienne <em>(Sassone et al., Bioarchives, article en r\u00e9vision)<\/em>.<\/p><p>Ce dernier axe ouvre bien des pistes int\u00e9ressantes afin de d\u00e9velopper de nouvelles strat\u00e9gies th\u00e9rapeutiques.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section
